Indonesian Commands (Imperative)

Tenth graders give commands and instructions in Indonesian (perintah) — panaskan! (heat!), masukkan! (add!), aduk! (stir!), sajikan! (serve!). Commands often add “-kan” or “-lah.” They order the steps to make nasi goreng, Indonesia’s beloved fried rice!
