Hands-Only CPR & Emergencies

Tenth graders learn the basics of responding to a cardiac emergency — check, call 911, and push hard and fast in the center of the chest. Hands-only CPR keeps blood flowing until help arrives and can save a life. They order the steps, then plan how to act in an emergency. (A certified course is needed to practice the skill.)
