Tagalog Future Tense

Tenth graders learn the Tagalog future (contemplative aspect), formed by reduplicating the verb’s first syllable: kakain ako (I will eat), pupunta ako (I will go), maglalaro ako (I will play). With it, they can talk about plans and predictions.
