Bengali Proverbs

Eleventh graders explore Bengali proverbs (probad) — short sayings full of wit and wisdom, like “Olpo bidya bhoyongkori” (a little learning is dangerous) and “Koshto na korle keshto mele na” (no effort, no reward). Proverbs open a window into Bengali values.
