Persian Proverbs

Eleventh graders explore Persian proverbs (zarbolmasal) — short sayings full of wisdom, like “Qatre qatre jam’ gardad, vângahi daryâ shavad” (drop by drop becomes a sea) and “Az mâst ke bar mâst” (we reap what we sow). Proverbs open a window into Persian values.
