Thai Conditional

Twelfth graders learn the Thai conditional and polite requests — tha (ถ้า) means “if” (tha fon tok = if it rains), and kho…noi dai mai? makes requests polite. Kho = “may I have,” noi softens, dai mai = “is that okay?” It’s the key to sounding polite and refined.
