Hebrew Days of the Week

Third graders learn the days of the week in Hebrew (ימי השבוע) — and discover something neat: most days are simply numbered! יום ראשון (“first day” = Sunday), יום שני (“second day” = Monday)… through יום שישי (Friday), and שבת (Shabbat, the seventh day of rest).
