Third graders learn the days of the week in Thai — and discover something magical: each day is named after the sun, the moon, or a planet, and each has its own traditional lucky color! Wan aathit (วันอาทิตย์) is “sun day” (Sunday), wan jan (วันจันทร์) is “moon day” (Monday). “Wan” (วัน) means “day.”
