Persian Common Verbs

Fifth graders learn common action verbs in Persian — khordan (خوردن, to eat), nushidan (نوشیدن, to drink), raftan (رفتن, to go), harf zadan (حرف زدن, to speak), bâzi kardan (بازی کردن, to play). Persian infinitives end in “-an.” With verbs, they can start making sentences.
