Tagalog Seasons

Seventh graders explore the seasons in Tagalog (panahon) — tagsibol (spring), tag-init (summer), taglagas (autumn), taglamig (winter). Tagalog has words for all four, but the tropical Philippines really has just two: tag-init (dry) and tag-ulan (rainy)!
